Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1 Auckland - the city of sails

    • Arrive at Auckland International Airport.
    • You will meet our local representative who will arrange your transfer to Hotel.
    • Check in to your hotel, rest of the day is at leisure to explore on your own.
    • Auckland is New Zealand's largest city and main transport hub. Enjoy the shopping, dining and natural wonders that Auckland has to offer.
    • Overnight at hotel in Auckland.
  • Day : 2 Auckland City Tour

    Breakfast at the hotel.

    After breakfast you will proceed for half day city tour.

    Travel through the city centre, along Karangahape Road with its chequered past and eclectic vibe, past fashionable Ponsonby and over the Auckland Harbour Bridge, enjoying views of the Hauraki Gulf and city skyline.

    Visit the Viaduct Harbour and Auckland's famous Queen Street before continuing to the Auckland Domain. The Domain is the city's oldest park and, at 75 hectares, one of its largest. Developed around an extinct volcano, it features tropical gardens, duck ponds and public art, and is also home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum.

    After visiting the Domain, the tour continues to Parnell Village. The historic buildings of Parnell have been transformed into a trendy shopping area featuring a range of boutiques, craft and specialty stores.

    Lunch will be served at local Indian restaurant - Veg/Non-veg and Jaini Meals can be arranged.

    Then get up close with the diverse local marine life at the famous Kelly Tarlton‟s Underwater World, just five minutes from downtown - Set on the waterfront of Auckland City on Okahu Bay.

    In the evening you will be transferred to Sky Tower.

  • Day : 3 Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua

    After breakfast at hotel, check out and proceed through the lush farmland of the Waikato and King Country regions. Your experienced local driver guide will provide entertaining commentary and point out historical sites of interest including Rangiriri, the location of a major battle in the Māori Land Wars. En-route visit to Waitomo Glowworm Caves - this guided tour will take you through over 250 meters of stunning underground scenery commencing with the impressive Cathedral.

    Your tour begins at the upper entrance of the cave and proceeds along a low narrow passage to the Tomo, a deep limestone shaft.

    Lunch will be served at local Indian restaurant – Veg/Non-veg and Jaini Meals can be arranged

    Other magnificent cave formations include the Banquet Chamber, the Pipe Organ and the Catacombs. The highlight of your tour is an unrivalled boat trip through the spectacular Glowworm Grotto. As your eyes adjust to the dark, the walls and roof sparkle with the lights of glowworm larvae. Glide silently through the starry wonderland of the glowworm grotto, your way lit by a myriad of tiny glowworm lights glittering, and reflecting off the water.

    After the tour proceed to Rotorua.

    After breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit the Rainbow Springs Parks

  • Day : 5 Rotorua - Wellington

    After breakfast at hotel, check out and transfer on to Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand. Situated at the southern end of the North Island, Wellington, New Zealand, was recently named "the coolest little capital in the world" by Lonely Planet. Nestled between a sparkling harbour and rolling green hills, New Zealand's capital city is renowned for its arts, heritage, culture and native beauty.

    Relax at Oriental Bay, Wellington‟s golden-sand inner-city beach and delve into the many museums, art galleries and theatre shows that make up the city‟s pulsing cultural scene. If you‟re into the outdoors, Wellington has action-packed adventure activities like mountain biking and sea-water kayaking, as well as beautiful walks around the harbor and surrounding hills. Ride the cable car up the hill to Kelburn for amazing views over the city and enjoy an ice cream at the top.

Known as the culinary capital of New Zealand, Wellington is famous for its tucked-away bars, quirky cafes, award-winning restaurants and great coffee. Head to Courtenay Place or Cuba Street to get amongst the good stuff.

  • Day : 6 Wellington

    After breakfast at hotel, proceed by for a city tour - travel around the earthquake-scarred south coast to see the ruins of the Wahine ferry disaster and the distant ranges of the South Island, overlooked by the coasters' houses perched on the steep, rocky hills.

    Enjoy the views of the harbor and MatiuSommes Island, a deceptively pretty place where prisoners of war were quarantined during World War II.

    Enjoy panoramic views of Wellington city and harbor from the top of Mt Victoria.

    Take a trip on the cable car, a charming and picturesque transport that is one of the few surviving in the world.

    In Thorndon, New Zealand's oldest suburb, visit the magnificent Parliament buildings and gorgeous Old St Paul's Cathedral See the famous Beehive, the seat of government. Your sightseeing tour concludes with a visit to the Te Papa which is the innovative national museum and a world leader in interactive experiences.

    New Zealand's history, art and people are showcased in fun and interesting exhibitions. Set on Wellington's waterfront, Te Papa is the most visited museum in Australasia and entry is free for most exhibitions.

It is located on the North Shore, at the southern end of a peninsula that runs southeast from near Lake Pupuke in Takapuna, forming the northern side of the WaitemataHarbour. East of Devonport lies North Head, the northern promontory guarding the mouth of the harbour.
